Wedding Day

We aim to provide all the information you need to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience as you attend our wedding ceremony and reception. Our goal is to make your experience as a guest as seamless and memorable as possible, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the joyous celebration ahead.

The Ceremony at the Castle

We will celebrate our wedding with a civil ceremony at the Castle of Casertavecchia at 12:00.

Promenade through the Old town

We will then immediately start the festivities with a promenade through the old town alleys, where we will be offered a tasting of local specialties and refreshments.

The Reception

The shuttle service will then take us back to the villa, where we will have a lunch reception, and we will celebrate until the evening.

Ceremony Attire

We love to dress up, so we will formally, and we want guests to wear whatever makes you feel good!

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes, as the town is paved with cobblestone, and parts of our event will happen in grassy areas.

Bring a sweater if you need it later. Italian weddings are an all-day affair. We’ll start at noon and go until late!

Weather

High 27°C / low 17°C (80°F / 62°F)

September is the perfect season in the Naples area to get the best summer weather.

We expect sun. It will be intense and short if it rains, but typically never the whole day. Moisture and mosquitos are also known around these times. Casertavecchia is in the mountains, so it should be fresh.

Shuttle Bus

A shuttle service provides round-trip transfers for guests to the castle for our ceremony from Villa Hirta. The shuttles will leave from the parking lot at Villa Hirta starting at 11:30.

Cuisine

Campania maintains some of Italy's most treasured culinary highlights, so please come with an appetite (and not your tightest outfits).

A traditional Italian celebration includes antipasto (“before meal” — appetizers), primi (two first courses), secondo (a second course), and dolce (of course, wedding cake and dessert).

Many world-known Italian dishes are rooted in Campania: pizza, mozzarella di bufala, limoncello, sfogliatelle… Italians know Campania well for being one of the tastiest regions, offering the best food imaginable.

We hope to give you a taste of many of these local specialties.

For the young ones

There will be a lovely animatore, or children's entertainer, who will supervise and play with the young ones during the reception (with their own picnic lunch).

Gifts

Considering the constraints of travel and limited luggage space, we kindly request no physical gifts for our wedding.

However, if you wish to support us, we would be delighted for any financial contribution. You can donate in person at the wedding or online, contributing to our honeymoon fund.

Your generous contributions will be used towards our dream honeymoon trip in Asia next year, creating lasting memories that we will cherish forever.

Thank you for your love and support. ❤️
